Just finished a great instal of elect boiler and 200l cylinder by Kyle Barr Plumbing and Heating. Appeared when he said he would, job took two days as he said it would, and he grafted past other on site difficulties to make sure he delivered . Very pleased with outcome. Super fast and excellent service. I recently experienced another issue with my boiler and initially contacted British Gas via their live chat. After a brief conversation, I was advised to turn the boiler off and open the windows however, the agent then left the chat unexpectedly, leaving the issue unresolved and me left wondering. I subsequently contacted Kyle, who attended as quickly as possible. He identified an additional fault on top of this new fault adding to several ongoing issues that have happened since December 2025. Based on this, I decided it was maybe time to replace the boiler, and Kyle is now in the process of installing a new one. I have also chosen to take out HomeCare cover with Kyle and will be cancelling my agreement with British Gas. This will ensure my boiler is serviced annually and that I receive a more reliable and responsive call-out service in the future. * I also had Kyle replace all the radiators back in late 2024 when I bought the house as all 5 radiators were leaking, very old, not heating up etc. I now i have 5 new radiators and house is so warm with them, and now a new boiler added to the mix, just perfect.
